Giving Back Before They Go
More than 325 Bloomsburg University spring 2022 graduates participated in this year’s Senior Class Gift Campaign. That’s just over 20% of the graduating class!
Each student who made a senior class gift was given a philanthropy cord to wear on graduation day (like the ones highlighted in the photo below). The cords allowed the seniors who participated to proudly display their giving and inspire their fellow graduates to also consider giving back.

"I was honored to serve as the president of the BU Foundation Student Philanthropy Council and help play a role in raising awareness about the importance of philanthropy among our student body," said Maggie Roberts '22. "As a member of the student phonathon calling team, I experienced just how much of a difference donors make every day, and I was happy to share that message with my fellow students and hopefully inspire some of them to give back too."
Pictured at the right is Maggie Roberts '22, president of the BUF Student Philanthropy Council.
Below are just a few more photos of seniors who dropped into the BUF offices to make their gifts and pick up their philanthropy cords.

Lennox Haynes '22, Computer Science Major
Matthew Short '22, Finance Major
Thank you to all our seniors who have joined our BU family of donors!
