Husky Career Road Trip Open Doors

A busload of 24 Bloomsburg University students made a Husky Career Road Trip to Washington, D.C. in April to explore career and internship opportunities.
Finance students toured the Federal Reserve and FDIC. The visit was facilitated by Marc Steckel ’93, FDIC Deputy Director of Complex Financial Institutions and BU Alumni Association Board member.
Political science students met with PA legislators and another group of students visited The Washington Center Headquarters, including some who will be completing internships there and others exploring internship opportunities.
Before returning to campus, the students enjoyed a career networking social with BU alumni living in the Washington, D.C. area. Shown in photo the photo above with students, in addition to Steckel, is Kerri Donald Sears ’92, former BU Alumni Association Board president who now serves on the College of Liberal Arts Advisory Board.
