The 13th annual Zeigler Institute for Professional Development (ZIPD) Conference, hosted at Commonwealth University's Zeigler College of Business on November 9 and 10, was a vibrant nexus of learning, networking, and mentorship. This annual event plays a pivotal role in equipping our students Gain the Edge by developing essential skills crucial for their transition into the workforce, emphasizing the invaluable importance of networking and soft skills.
At the core of this impactful event, each year, are the alumni and volunteers who return to make it a success. We are incredibly thankful for our loyal donors who extend their generosity beyond their financial support by sharing their time and expertise with our students. This year, we saw donors and volunteers return to campus from as far as Texas, Arizona, and even California.
For Diane Brennan '88, Tom Brogan '03, and Ed Brouse '91, it was their first time back at Bloomsburg since graduating. Their dedication underscores the allure of the ZIPD Conference as a value-added, high-impact practice that attracts donors and volunteers who want to make a difference for the next generation of leaders.
The conference served as a dynamic platform where students could engage with industry leaders, absorb knowledge, and refine essential skills for future endeavors. Through interactive sessions, workshops, and engaging discussions, attendees gained practical insights and honed their abilities, setting a solid foundation for their future careers.
As we reflect on the enriching moments and invaluable connections forged during the conference, we extend heartfelt gratitude to our generous donors, dedicated sponsors, and the entire CU-Bloomsburg community.
